Lots of places to go and lots of things to blow

I have a house party in Brooklyn, so that’s where I will be for a while. Then maybe Studio B, because I love to dance and right before I go home I’ll stop by Cielo for the turntable styling of Luke Fair. But, who knows its New York anything can happen.

Tonight 11.9.2007

Juliette and the Licks perform at Luna Lounge
Luna Lounge 361 Metropolitan Avenue, 7:30pm, $16 ADV/ $18 DOS.
First just let me say I love when famous folks hang out in Brooklyn. 2. I saw her perform by accident earlier this year and was absolutely shocked—basically I reacted the same way the crowd in the below video did; stunned motionless, until I realized what hit me.
I mean she’s always had RockStar swagger but the lyrics and vocals are on point and the band has skills. Translating well in Europe where their huge, see and hear for yourself.

People Don’t Dance No More

Studio B (259 Banker St.), 10pm, Free with RSVP at peopledontdancenomore@gmail.com
Why, I ask; The only thing I am going to say is Friday night disco dance party Hosted by People Don't Dance No More God I love them for bringing Dan Selzer, Jacques Renault, David Bruno and Eamon Harkin to Studio B and late night revelers get 2 for 1 drinks from 2-3am—exactly when I plan to arrive.

Luke Fair@ Cielo

Cielo 18 Little West 12th Street
Damn, I wish Cielo was bigger because tonight Luke Fair will be playing his signature cutting edge blend of funky, trance music that makes the body move.
