Happy Friday

Back when I was at the Evil Empire toiling away at whatever meaningless task they assigned me. A co-worker would run around stomping their feet and yelling Happy Friday. Thank god I no longer have to endure such atrocities, But here's one for you.

Review
Star Lounge
Star Lounge 222 W. 23rd (between 7th and 8th Aves), 212-255-4646.
The bar at the bottom of the chelsea hotel has seen many an incarnation. Plenty of debaucherous happenings and several a drunken night. Charles Ferri's has taken tenure currently with a smaller, trendier replica of the Hamptons Star Lounge. The tri-chambered catacomb like space houses a burgundy-curtained room with images of chandeliers on the walls. A banquetted lounge area with a stripper-pole stage, dancefloor, and DJ-booth. Last but not least is the zebrawood Retro Bar, where you can get The Hooker not a prostitute but a house cocktail made of Absolut, Bailey's and chocolate puree. I goes well with whomever is working the pole the night you plan to stop by, which I suggest be very very soon.
