For me it is; sugar melts in the rain and my bubbly sweetness must be maintained. In between work and my nights out I caught up on some culture. I viewed Armando Reveron at MOMA who made dolls and painted landscapes with white paint on burlap. My Favorite of his pieces are the self-portraits, see below.
I also viewed Lorna Simpson (a fellow Brooklynite) at the Whitney my favorite of hers on view was the video installation of the Humming Mouths, that’s not what it’s called but that’s what i’ve re-named it.
