Something New

My Fourth of July extended weekend was a blast. Between cheering for cute soccer players and eating enormous amounts of barbeque, I did some dancing and borough hopping. Before I give you this weekend’s list I would like to give a sincere show of gratitude.

I want to thank PS 1 for having a warm up series that involves mastery in the genres of art and DJing and for also providing me with food, drink, art installations and a stone dance floor. I want to thank the organizers for having the foresight and mind-set to pull off the Body & Soul reunion. Lastly I would also like to thank all those who allowed me to shimmy and shake against them, Thank you, your so sexy.

A grand salutation to the Afro Punk crew for exposing me to all that punk music created by Americans of African decent, I love chocolate punk boys, muy fuego. And last but not least to the hot soccer players and your adoring fans vive Italia
